Making a difference through compassion

The Bethel Homes Project is one of the charitable initiatives implemented by Karunyasparsham Charitable Trust, with the objective of providing housing for families living in difficult circumstances.

The first phase of the project commenced during the financial year 2024–25. Following an assessment, four beneficiary families were selected:

Mrs. Sindhu Edapparayil, Ambalavayal.

Mrs. Abiya P. Eldho, Pananthaanath House, Nenm eni P.O., Koliyadi.

Mrs. Annakutty, Valayil House, Vaduvanchal.

Mr. Mathew Mundakkal, Perumbadikkunnu, Thomattuchal.

The construction of all four houses was successfully completed. On 26 August 2025, the keys to the houses were handed over to the beneficiaries at Nirmalagiri Aramana. The ceremony was inaugurated by His Holiness Baselios Marthoma Mathews III, the Catholicos of the East and Malankara Metropolitan, with the meeting presided over by His Grace Dr. Geevarghese Mar Barnabas, Metropolitan and Managing Trustee.

During the reporting period, financial assistance of Rs.50,000 each was also provided to four households for house repairs.

The Trust expresses its sincere gratitude to all those who contributed to mobilizing resources and coordinating the successful implementation of this project.
